Hi, and welcome to my website. Here you will find full examples of my video work. I'm a freelance video editor, motion graphics artist and videographer. Adobe Premiere Pro has been my go to NLE since 2004. However, during my time at Southeastern Community College as a lead instructor I became quite skilled with Avid Media Composer. Adobe After Effects is used for all my motion graphic and title work and Maya for 3D work. For the production side, my gear consists of the Nikon D-7000 DSLR Camera, AF-S Nikkor 55-300mm & 18-105mm lenses, Manfrotto tripod with fluid head, Zoom H4N portable audio device, a Rode Shotgun Mic and a Zacuto Z-Finder Pro.

Growing up

I grew up in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains of Northeast Tennessee and my parents provided ample opportunities for my brother and me to foster our imaginations. Of course, just between you and me, I thought our mom was just trying to get us out of the house. The nearby creeks, meadows, and woods became places of epic heroic journeys or lairs of sinister evil that only we could vanquish. Thanks to my mom, those seeds of an active imagination were planted.

College

My creativity and imigination would surface from time-to-time while serving in the Marine Corps. Eventually, my love of story and the arts compelled me to go to college full time to study animation and motion. In six years I had obtained a master's degree in digital media from East Tennessee State University. My efforts as a graduate student were awarded with a Silver Addy for Special Effects from the Northeast Chapter of the American Advertising Federation for a class capstone project.

I am an artist, a videographer, video editor and a highly skilled and talented professional who engages in a variety of creative productions. I have worked on independent films, commercials and a wide range of advertising campaigns.
