This project was part of a yearly ad campaign created by the Public Information Officer and Marketing Director of the College. This television ad spot first air on WECT in the Wilmington, NC market. The concept centered around the idea of “What do I want to be when I grow up?” and the community college's mission of training individuals no matter the age. It was reasoned that most people have, at one time or another, wanted to make a career change.
Our location was in campus's television studio. By shooting on the campus we were able to have all of actors come in at different times, which allowed us to complete all the photography in a single day. The marketing director arranged for the students in the cosmetology course to be on set to do hair and makeup for our actors.
We used the Canaon XH-A1S® for all our footage. The project was ingested using Avid Adrenaline® and cut using Avid Media Composer®. All titles and effects including glow was done using Adobe After Effects®.
